Any arizona bird hunters in here?

Just curious to see if theres any bird hunters in here from Az. Im going to try a 14" contender this year to have some fun!

I assume you are talking about Dove, since it's right around the corner. I haven't even gotten my bird stamp yet.

Haven't been seeing too many dove flying in my travels around phoenix, and all my old spots to go have been developed so no hunting.

I know Yuma is pretty good for dove, but then everyone else does too, and I'd just rather not deal with that many hunters shooting on top of each other. I went there one year, and decided that wasn't for me after all.

Anyone has any suggestions on good areas around phoenix, I might be persuaded to get my bird stamp and go.

Yuma is world class for dove, up here near Phoenix find yourself a good dairy farm (with permission of the owner, of course).
