Any Anschutz experts here??/

I have a 1813 bbl'd action, and am wondering if the stock is original to the bbl'd action. Any way to tell?? There is a number 6 stamped in the bbl channel of the stock, but that does not correlate w/ any part of the SN. Anywhere else to look for a number??

Go to Rimfire central, it is all rimfires and lots of members. Matt

To the best of my knowledge, Anschutz did not serialize their match stocks to their barreled actions, but I'm not a total expert on historical Anschutz practices. Someone on Rimfire Central might know for sure, or if not RFC then Target Talk (http://www.targettalk.org). For your question I would probably start on RFC, though.

If you post some pictures, I can help determine if the stock is an 1813 stock or something else (Anschutz made a variety of barreled action/stock combos to meet the needs of various different rule sets over the years). Also, does your serial number end in X?

It is not a 1600 series rifle

I have a stock that came from an 1807, 1813 is just a little heavier barrel if the stock is the same.... jim
