High pressure bearing grease. I dont recommend anti sieze for that at all
The only reason to use it over grease is when the joint gets hot enough to boil grease out it leaves a dissimilar metal between the threads to aid in disassembly. I dont want nor need that in my threads. Why not?
What anti seize lube is good for switch barrel rifles?
Do not do this! I have seen way too many stainless actions galled and pretty much turned into a one off after rethreadingBenchrest Central Forums

Lucas red n tacky is a real good one that stays putI used to use Permatex Coper Anti-Seize but switched over to the red lithium grease a few years ago.
I use it to lube bolt lugs too. Bought a large can of it for about $5 at O'Rielly Auto Parts.

This is exactly right. Anti seize is good but this a misapplication for it. Obviously, it's a common misuse, though. The only reason to use it over grease is when the joint gets hot enough to boil grease out it leaves a dissimilar metal between the threads to aid in disassembly. I bought a quart of the stuff about 5 years ago from McMaster.Where have you been buying this?
I haven't found a Lucas product I didn't like yet. Yes, I do have a syringe full of Lucas Red that I use too, mainly for bolt lugs on a couple rifles.Lucas red n tacky is a real good one that stays put
