What anti seize lube is good for switch barrel rifles?

The only reason to use it over grease is when the joint gets hot enough to boil grease out it leaves a dissimilar metal between the threads to aid in disassembly. I dont want nor need that in my threads.

I used to use Permatex Coper Anti-Seize but switched over to the red lithium grease a few years ago.
I use it to lube bolt lugs too. Bought a large can of it for about $5 at O'Rielly Auto Parts.

Do not do this! I have seen way too many stainless actions galled and pretty much turned into a one off after rethreading

This is exactly right. Anti seize is good but this a misapplication for it. Obviously, it's a common misuse, though.

So should I be pulling my barrel and re applying a different product or wait until next time I need to switch

Lucas red n tacky is a real good one that stays put

I haven't found a Lucas product I didn't like yet. Yes, I do have a syringe full of Lucas Red that I use too, mainly for bolt lugs on a couple rifles.
