I have a Anschutz super match for 1967. The forward screw hole for the stock is striped out. This is in the front part of the action and the barrel is under it. The hole is only .250 deep, about 3-4 threads. I'm going to try a helicoil but the hole isn't deep enough to cut threads. Any Ideas??

That is not uncommon. If you don't have thread milling capability or don't want to remove and reinstall the barrel, you can set it up and plunge mill deep enough to tap it. The factory thread is M6x0.75,1/4-28 will usually clean it up. Yes, you will plunge into the barrel some but as long as you only go deep enough to get full threads in the receiver ring that won't hurt anything.
