Anschutz MPR questions

My guess is the op does not have the parallax adjusted correctly.

2 ways to fix that...

One point the rifle at the target on a rest and without touching the rifle, move from side to side and up and down while looking through the scope.. if the reticle is moving, then adjust parallax until it is not.

second method... when looking through the scope, bring your head rearward until the edges of the field of view in the scope get fuzzy, then shoot when that fuzzy out edge is centered.

third actually is to do both.

Guys-

Eliminating scope "issues", I believe the OP means that in target 1 he may be dead center on the 10 ring for five shots or however many he is shooting. He moves to target #2 and he may have the same group size but they are NNE of the 10 ring and on the seven ring, target #3, same group size but it may be NNW on the 9 ring and so forth.

OP- Have you tried shooting in the following order- target 1, then 6 then 11 then 16 then 21? Please respond.

Thats basically the problem I'm having. I did take my sled off and used my Wichita rest and the problem went away. My bench rest rest has no horizontal adjustment so I just moved my rear bag for right and left. I think that was causing a lot of my problems.

One more thing. if you are shooting of sandbags in the front and your rear bag (of whatever manufacture, does the problem recur? If the rear bag is not at 90 degree angle to the target, there may be pressure one side or the other on the stock and that may cause the problem.
