Anschutz 54 firing pin spring

I've heard that these extra power firing pin springs will cause unwanted vibration or movement of the rifle upon firing. What about McMaster-Carr? Does anyone think they may have a spring that would be a close fit to the original, or a cut to length spring that will work? I'm not sure on the spur of the moment but it seems that Calfee discouraged the use of extra strength FP springs. Lighter springs, less vibration, just so you don't go so light as to cause misfires, but keep uniform ignition.
I have no issues using them and prefer them over the factory originals. however, my rifles are all set up for BR with tuners.

Is your 54 MSR a wing-safety model?
I had a 54 that was built as a BR rifle by Calfee. It was a wing-safety model from the seventies and I bought a Wolfe FP spring for it. I've since sold that gun and still have the spring somewhere if you want it.
Just drop me a PM and I go down and find it for you.
It's not the wing safety model
Thank you!

A lighter pin hit from a weaker spring can cause ignition problems and POI changes. during warmer temperatures not so noticeable but in cooler temperatures I see POI go lower and my rifles are not tuned for a low POI I know time for a spring change.

Was thinking about running the temperature test. Does the POI remain low in cold temperatures after the barrel has been warmed up with 5+ rounds? Perhaps the cold is affecting the spring strength and not the barrel vibrations? What vintage Annie are you shooting?

Cooler temperatures provide more consistent powder burn rate from what I have seen. during summer months where it can be 100+ POI can be a bit erratic and until I chronograph lots recently I only assumed that was happening but can confirm cooler temperatures does lower velocity but also prevent spikes that I was seeing during the summer.
I shoot a 1965 1411 with a Benchmark barrel here is a cold temperature test I did 7 years ago this month.
the very first shot with rifle straight out of the case is the top lefthand bull then 5 -shot group followed but a single shot at each bull then final 5 shot group.
