Anschutz 54 firing pin spring

I've heard that these extra power firing pin springs will cause unwanted vibration or movement of the rifle upon firing. What about McMaster-Carr? Does anyone think they may have a spring that would be a close fit to the original, or a cut to length spring that will work? I'm not sure on the spur of the moment but it seems that Calfee discouraged the use of extra strength FP springs. Lighter springs, less vibration, just so you don't go so light as to cause misfires, but keep uniform ignition.
I have no issues using them and prefer them over the factory originals. however, my rifles are all set up for BR with tuners.

Is your 54 MSR a wing-safety model?
I had a 54 that was built as a BR rifle by Calfee. It was a wing-safety model from the seventies and I bought a Wolfe FP spring for it. I've since sold that gun and still have the spring somewhere if you want it.
Just drop me a PM and I go down and find it for you.
It's not the wing safety model
Thank you!
