Anschutz 1517 D classic 64 action 17 hmr?

I can get it new for $1099.00 with a 5098 two stage trigger.

I could get 2 CZ's or 3 Savage's for that price.
The only realy plus for me is that is has a 2 stage trigger.

What do you think my chances are of getting one the shoots MOA or better.

My feeling is getting any brand of rifle that shoots MOA is a crap shoot.
Will the Anschutz be any better?

Thanks for any input!

I have a 1517 with the single stage trigger. I have owned a 1416 with the 5098 two stage trigger. That is a very nice trigger - but in my opinion not worth another 2-300 dollars. On my 1517 I bought a spring kit from J&G, now has about 20 oz. pull and very nice single stage. Also, it will shoot under 1 MOA anytime there are minimal winds at 100 yds. I think you can probably find a 1517 with the single stage trigger for about $800. I have owned two CZ 452's one American & one Varmint in 17 HMR also. They shot well after trigger work & floating barrels, but my Anschutz will still out shoot them.

Good Luck,
Terry
