Just curious what kind of groups you folks are getting with your Anschutz rifles at 100 yds.
Pics please.

Holy mackerel - I think you can hold your position and POI. ;)

I just won a club match in one string at100yds with my 2013, not as good as this target, but bested a few shooter "much" better than me.

Thank you. They definitely don't always look like that, but once in a while everything comes together. I guess that's why we have cameras on our phones!

All prone at 100, after zeroing. Top left - 1st 10 shots with the 1913. Center - 1st five shots with the 54.30. Top Right, 10 shots for record with the 54.30 last May in a 1600 match (fishtailing wind). Either rifle with the good stuff should shoot 3/4 MOA; factoring out the wind and the trigger puller.

I know it isn't an Anschutz but my CMP 40X trainer does okay for the vintage setup. 20 shot groups with a scope and then irons on a MR31 target from the prone position (100 yards).

Nice thumbhole stock.

Nothing wrong with a 40X; great rifles. Both my US (Redfield Palma irons) and USMC (20X Unertl scope) have cleaned the MR31.

All very nice!
I enjoy shooting irons also, I'm impressed with the iron sight groups.

I like seeing groups from all kinds of guns in all kinds of conditions. Don't get me wrong I enjoy shooting bug holes but,,,, I would love to stretch one of these 22's out to as far as I could repeatedly hit a 6-8" target. How far do you go out with them?

I plan to get an Annie, seems there many models and or model numbers I'm not sure which is what.

Keep em coming.

A few of us shoot prone at 200 yards; fun test of wind reading. The X ring is 2 inches. The NRA used to recognize the match but dropped it. 300 yards is reasonable for an 8 inch target if you have great ammo. 200 yards with a 22 is equivalent to around 850 yards with a 308 155gn SMK Palma load. This rifle was built for long range training. 40X RF, Masterclass Prone Stock, Jewell Trigger, 30 inch Lilja tightbore barrel in a palma profile hung by Gene Davis; set up for both scope and irons. Some said a long barrel wouldn't perform. Its first five shot prone group at 100 measured .65 inches. I've shot it in 1600 matches but it gives the left arm a workout.

IMG_2764.JPG.jpeg We shoot a 200-yard smallbore match a couple of times per year up here in MN. This pic is showing 2 20-shot matches with a bunch of sighters (8 before first match, unlimited allowed, and 2 before 2nd match), shot on a rare calm day. 4 of the low 9's were sighters, the other 3 9's were record shots. Scores were 200-9x, and 197-7x. This was with the same 2013 shot from prone with a sling, this time with irons. 2" X-ring and 4" 10-ring.
