On a related topic, do you test tenon and action screw torque with each lot of ammo ?
It has been several seasons since I used the 2000 action - either for my primary or backup rifle, but to answer your question no, I did the initial tennon clamping screw torque test with several lots of different speeds and the results overlapped. I have used 4.5nm for them since.
But as I mentioned, tennon diameter is really important. If your tennon is undersized (like the factory tennons), you expend some amount of screw torque just closing the gap and making contact. I look for a light press fit - unfortunately every one of these is a little different. My tennons finished at .8675", but your mileage may vary.
I standardized action screw torque too (after a few seasons testing), 2.5nm seemed universal, so I never retested it each season (or each new lot).
