I am thinking of getting another reamer for my 6.5 Creedmoor. My turned brass loaded mikes at 0.289- 0.290, but I have a ton of new factory ammo that I ultimately want to shoot safely, and this mikes at 0.291.
I've been using a 0.286 bushing, which actually gives OD of 0.286, so ending up with around 0.003 neck tension.
Anyway, with a finished round OD of 0.291, what diameter should I use for the neck part of the reamer that will safely shoot the factory ammo without excessive space?
I was thinking of a 0.293 neck diameter for the reamer- is this too tight? It is largely used for a target/varmint rifle, not benchrest.
