Did I hear correctly it was 48 minutes from the 1st shot until SWAT got to his hotel room ?

We aren’t talking about Germans here. ISIS is crazy. This dude was crazy. Don’t mix efficiency and effectiveness with being a warrior. I disrespect the hell out of ISIS, this dude, and whatever they stand for. I am superior to them because I know the difference between right and wrong. Also, me saying that doesn’t make me “feel” better about myself. It makes me honest.

Your superior position with regard to right and wrong has NOTHING to do with the battlefield. The "right" guys get killed as much as the "wrong". On the battlefield you would learn respect for the enemies capabilities and academic discussions disappear.

We are way off in left field now. My point stands that this dude was crazy. 59 Killed and 500+ wounded support my point. Whatever his agenda is and whatever his goal was, he was crazy for acting on it.

On the battlefield, you never learn to respect your enemy. You learn how to survive. There is no right or wrong on the battlefield. This is the real world, not the OK Corral. Your CCW/pistola will do nothing for you in that situation, and all venues such as that one does not allow weapons of any type. And for good reason. Obviously, you have never been on a battlefield.

Considering the angle he was shooting from, highly unlikely to have very many multiple strikes with one bullet. Also if it were (?) a 5.56, the bullet doesn't have a lot of energy at that distance, not enough to penetrate 2-3 bodies. Chances are many of the deaths and injuries was from a human stampede. Here are some recent examples.

According to several news reports the "wounded" includes non gun shot injurues to include trample injures and injuries sustained while trying to scale fences and perimeter barriers.

Well I agree that this was well planned out, premeditated, but what the Hell was this warriors cause?

Easy his cause was to kill all those violently opposed to his agenda of destroying the US and all the good that that brought. He will be found to hate the Constitution, Pro Choice, those fighting immigration, pro fence, pro fiscal responsibility, etc and more.

All supposition.

Ironic that the very ones that want gun control resort to guns for their agenda. First Republican congressmen at a baseball practice and now this - assuming the shooter was after what is perceived as a Republican majority at the concert.

What is your supposition, that he hated country music?
Waiting for the facts, if and when they are revealed. I'm a 1 + 1 = 2 kind of guy. Hard to figure that a guy with all those weapons, ammo and even bump fire stock, would attack a CM venue. That is if he truly believed in the 2nd amendment. Also hard to believe that if he was a flaming liberal looking to destroy the constitution and 2nd amendment, he would have the wherewithal to gather the equipment and lay out such a game plan. Things don't add up. Until more facts come out I am sticking with a sick SOB with a death wish. If the latter is the case, my wish is that he would have driven his car at 100 mph into a cement bridge abutment.

Reports now say it was the smoke alarm in the shooters room that allowed police to zero in on his location and the time was 72 minutes from the 1st 911 call.

Also read the shooter had tried to book a room overlooking the "Life Is Beautiful" festival the previous weekend. So it wasn't the country music he was after.
