Congrats Butch. And I thought we were long termers coming up on 40 years. Some of you folks put us to shame. Glad to see that.

Butch and Mrs Butch! Truly great! My lovely Bride and I just hit 35 June 22nd. We were late bloomers.

On this day in 1961 2 young kids two weeks out of high school were married in Wichita Falls, Texas. Butch and Charlotte Johnson began their 64 year journey. It started in Burkburnett, Texas and with stopping places in Dallas, Garland, Anchorage, Ak, Garland, Rowlett, and the last 25 years in Poetry, Texas.
We have 3 wonderful sons, 9 grandchildren, and 4 of the prettiest great grand daughters that anybody could ask for.
My sweetheart has been with me all the way with her love and support. You couldn't find a better mother, grandmother, or great grandmother. The kids always call Nannie when they have a problem, be it about their health, every day problems, or how to cook something.
I've truly been blessed!

We just celebrated so many we couldn't do the math!! I'm a very lucky person, good things just happened, my wife is the greatest thing to happen to me. It's unbelievable to me everyday. Butch everyday is a a super blessing, both of you must be great people! You're a few years ahead of us (we're @56), great to see positive statistics. The hope is many more GOOD YEARS!!! Substitute July 25, 1961 and this is exactly our story, except we have four great daughters. My mother had to sign for me too. Where have all the years gone.
They say the first fifty are he hardest.
Life styles have changed a lot since we got married.
