annealing made easy value

I have the task of helping my late friends wife sell his shooting things what is a fare price on a good used annealing made easy annealer
Thanks for any help on this

Well new they are $1395 with one pilot. I would assume that if it is in good condition and of the gen II version you could get $1000-$1100 plus shipping. If in a hurry, then reduce by $100-$200

its marked annealing made easy black square box I looked it up like papa charley said they list for 1398 new this one is like new we just want to list it a fare price soon as I get some more inventory made I will be listing a bunch of nice stuff for her

If it’s an AMP (annealing made perfect) there are several models that affect value especially if it’s a first model and doesn’t have Aztec. Those go for as low as $900. Newer model goes $1100+. Also depends how many and which caliber colets it has. A pic here would help.

The easy way to tell if it’s a first or second version is to see if it has two fans on one side. Two fans on one side is the newest second version.

pretty sure it has two fans like I said he didn't buy anything cheep and yes he was a good friend we shot short range br together (score ) he was quite the guy shooting was one of the big things on his bucket list and it gave him great joy and peace cancer is never easy he lost a brave battle with it on his 71st birthday its the least I can do to help his wife out

It isn't a matter of buying something cheap. It depends when he bought it. Once version 2 came out you could no longer buy version 1 new. Version 1 wasn't cheap.

I checked today it is a version 1 (one fan) it has a collet for 30BR and one for 6mm ppc a small holder for the cases and a cover original box and all the paper work I will be listing it and many more things in a few weeks

Ok good. Now that you know it’s a version 1 you need to turn it on and see if it has the Aztec option installed. It was optional on all version 1s. It ads a decent amount of value. Turn it on, and if you don’t see an option for Aztec then use the buttons to toggle through the options until it does a full loop and see if you see anything that says Aztec.

a buyer will want to know either way.
