Annealing brass with a 750g tempilslik

Hi there has anyone got any good tips on annealing brass 6mmbr with the Tempilslik 750g
I am using the KEN LIGHT annealing machine please

I found the stiks impossible to use, you want the liquid tempilaq. Brownells sells them. Put 750 inside the case mouth and down the full length of the outside. You want to see the inside burn off and the outside melt to the shoulder/body junction.

I have tried the sticks with OK results. I am also using a Ken Light annealer. What I have done is use the stick to check the brass as soon as it exits the 2nd flame. I try to set up the torches so the 750 will melt but 850 will not. That being said I think the liquid is a better way to go, as I am not sure how fast the brass cools down after it exits the flame.
Good luck,
Ben

I too had better luck with the liquid. 650@ shoulder/case body and 400 just below, all on the outside of the case. With my Bench Source this set up gives very good results. I would care to guess not too much dwell time with 750. I also believe its been stated numerous times that the case cool down time has no bearing on the "annealing" process, this is brass/alloy not steel. Eric in DL
