annealing machines/devices...which one?

I am still going with my Annie!

I don't know what the shipping schedules are at Fluxeon, but I think they have worked all the bugs out of the initial production.
Mine has been very consistent and FAST! And, half the cost of the AMP unit. Plus, way smaller. You can set up on your desk and do all your brass as quick as it takes to load a hopper of one of the "AUTO" machines.

Gary your making me want to try one of the MRB annealers. You must be a salesman;)

Well, I bit the bullet and got one of the MRB annealers. I have zero experience with other annealers but, this machine is the cat's meow. Very well built and easy to set up. I went to Home Depot and purchased a rubber flexible hose with connectors for the propane bottle. Took 3 tries to get the flame adjusted to hit where I wanted it too. Timed the duration on some scrap brass. It performed without nary a hitch. Loaded the hopper up, turned it on and I got busy cleaning up the reloading room. Glanced it once in a while and all was fine. Annealed some brass and cleaned up some stuff. Happy, happy!

RYANJAY 11,

You may be right, I just annealed 100 6BRX cases with my Annie including putting a stripe of Tempilac on a half dozen as I do spot checks as I go. Took 8 min 10 sec. And I was annealing for 1.8 sec each. So, if I was doing 284 WIN at 2.5 sec, it would have been
9 min and 20 sec. I did push a bit as I didn't count the time dumping the box of cases into a pan to work from (they are difficult to pull empty cases out of those little plastic compartments!
But, you have to admit, it's quick! And, I didn't have to carefully set the flame (s).

By the way, that amounts to 4.9 sec for each 6BRX case including handling time. I'll bet when you add the time to fill the hopper and flame anneal ( for what ~7 sec ea.) 100 cases, the induction process is way quicker and less bother.

Using the giraud, nice future is the amount of casings you can put into holder and just let it go. Works great and happy with it so far.

I bought the annealeze and am very happy, however, I have had to make a few changes. Cases would not rotate continously and this is very important in order to get cicumferential annealing. I glued a strip of 220 grit sandpaper to the wheel and case rotate beautifully. Short cases shoulder/body get very hot and would melt some wheel material onto the body of the case and is a real PITA to get off. I glued a small strip of 600 grit sandpaper in the wheel's groove and no melting.

You fellas are missing out on a great machine that is only $25 more than the Annealeez

Not really. Annealeez $275, MRB $400. I got the MRB and have been very happy with it. With the proper care and attention to detail, you can get very consistent results with the cordless drill and two torches. I did it for many years. But it does take constant attention.

But I certainly can't dispute that most folks posting videos on YouTube, don't know how to anneal. When I see them using 18 seconds in the flame....

When I pinned my reply, Annealeez wasn't half the product of MRB . Annealeez required you to purchase additional "kit" to anneal both large and small brass, pushing the cost of the Annealeez to within the range cited. Since then, I believe MRB has has a modest increase in price as well, but at the time I purchased my MRB, the price was $350. So, actually the Annealeez with Kits is the same price.

My opinion is going with the Annie Induction annealer with the water cooled coil. They produce the most consistent anneal to the brass, very easy to set up and same heat every time you press the start button. The learning curve is very minimal to these machines so you won't be wasting a bunch of brass.
