Shooters
Like to give you guys some Progress Reports on the Angeles BR Range. Angeles BR will replace San Gabriel BR this Summer. I have been in contact through my 100 e-mail list since last October, San Gabriel's last BR shoot. My feeling is that Angeles Range wanted to offer a BR range earlier but realized how entrenched our BR program was at San Gabriel.
Angeles BR Range
Our range will be 100yd like San Gabriel. Short Range BR shoots 100,200,300yds. We would have liked a 200 but the shape of our lot would not allow such. Our roof has been ordered which is the best news we had so far. Earthwork should be scheduled for next month. I drew up a Site Plan last October and revised it several time since. The most recent revision was completed last month and copies were given to Ron Cottriell our sponsor. We will be sharing the firing line with small bore. We will have 20/24 benches depending on Ron's needs. The firing line will be covered as well as part of the loading area. We expect to get 25-35 shooters to start. The neighboring ranges will be the Silhouette Range above us and the Sporting Clay across the street.
Schedule
I wrote a schedule considering we might start in July. We will have a couple 2 day Shoots along with the rest 1 day Shoots. When the Schedule is approved I will Post here. For 2008 I hope to have five 2 day Shoots five 1 day Shoots, a BR School, and a Club Shoot in December.
