A beautiful day on the mountain with a great group of shooters. However bright sun and a good dose of wind made it challenging. I never had my complete line of flags going in one direction and that doesn't help finding the dot at 300 yards. Quite often your biggest problem was no holes on your target which caused quite a few targets with too many holes. But as usual the cream wandered to the top. Congratulations to Frank Carrier for being First in Custom with a 237 and taking home 90.00. Gene Delp claims even though Frank has been winning a lot he still refuses to buy Gene an ice cream cone on the way home. Close behind was Jack Balon, Jeff Sass, and Kevin Dufford with 236 each and all 3 picking up 30.00 . So that left the third place guy, whoever he was, with a 235 and all the money was already gone. In Factory Class Ed Rethi shot a 209 to win First along with 25.00, nice shooting Ed. Bud Delp with a 198 shooting a .223 in the wind and bright sun took home 15.00. Tied in Factory for third at 195 was Joe Lash and Caz Silvis , splitting the 10.00 third place money. The multi talented Mr Carrier not only had the winning score but also called the line. Thanks Frank. Brian Kunselman ran targets, we appreciate his help. Thanks to all who came I hope you enjoyed the shoot as much as I did. See you Sat. Aug. 3rd for UBR at 100 yards.
