ANDERSON CRK UBR 300 YD RESULTS 7/1

19 young men (not true) and 1 young lady (true) came out to compete. For Anderson Creek conditions were not bad until the sun showed up and the mirage arrived. But as always some managed and conquered it. FATHER TIME aka Gene Delp was victorious in a tight race with a 237. Easy way to pick up 100.00 , right Gene? Congratulations friend. Leading the 19 shooters who trailed Gene, all shooting 236 were Kevin Dufford, Gary Flege, and Jeremiah Keefe. They each won 33.00 except for Gary who comes clear from Erie, we gave him an extra dollor , 34.00, for fuel expenses. Thanks to Dave Shaw and Frank Carrier for running targets, thats 1800 yards for a couple old guys. Not bad eh. Winning the side 5 shot group at 300 yards with a sizzling .656 was Mike Hagan. Very pretty Mike. And special thanks to all 20 compeiters for showing up. Next Sunday will be the Groundhog Match. Come join the fun. First row....Gary Flege, Gene Delp, and Mike Hagan. Second row... Yeah, I got an extra dollar, and took home two blue berry muffins.
There is a Sheetz station on the way home along 322 that has that
88 fuel for $2.75. My little Nissan likes it !!

And unsung hero of this whole affair is Jeff Gates wife. There was
a target snafu, I will not get into but, she prepared all the targets in a
rush to get this match going.....A big thank you from me personally !!
