And yet another moly question?

I have decided to give moly coated bullets a try if for no other reason than I’m bored and want to try something different. My question is, do I have to condition the barrel with anything before I start shooting moly. I always put lock ease in my barrels when finished cleaning but not sure if I should do that before shooting moly.

I've been using moly for more years than I can remember, and I ALWAYS coat the bore with colloidal graphite after cleaning. Even if I'm shooting bare bullets, I believe it is important to have something in the bore for those first few shots as opposed to bare metal on bare metal.
I hope this helps.

I don’t use anything I clean with Boretech carbon and copper remover‘s and that’s itC8CA9D1A-DE6B-469A-92C2-8D8C98542556.jpeg

Never did anything really special. I started with a clean bore and shot as usual and cleaned as usual. I got into moly during the early 90s because it was a bench rest rage and the range I shoot at is primarily bench rest people. Not a bench rest type myself but had to try what they were doing. :) Moly coating my own I learned a fractional part of a teaspoon easily did a few hundred Sierra Match King 168 grain bullets. To say a little goes a long way is an understatement. Anyway I really never did anything out of the ordinary. Just made sure I started with a real clean shiny bore.
