AMP annealing chart

One of the online suppliers (I thought it was Peterson brass) that had a chart of annealing codes for the AMP.
Am I mistaking or there was such a thing

I am annealing 50 caliber cases one manufacturer (head stamp PMJ) code is 269 and another manufacturer (head stamp 50 CAL) AMP code is 2222.

Why would there be such a big gap?
Should I sacrifice another case or just do the 2222 code.

Thanks for your input.

ETA; the cases with PMJ head stamp I annealed with 269.
