Ammo Selection Starting Out

Well $700.00 later and 500 rounds of off the shelf Academy CCI and Tac22 I am thoroughly hooked. Went with a CZ457 and strapped on an Athlon Helos scope I already had.
I placed my first order from Killough Shooting Sports yesterday of 4 different lots of ammo. We will see how that goes. BTW. Had a long conversation with one of their staff. That guy was good good people.
I wouldn't have thought a dang rimfire would hold your attention like this. I'm ordering a KYL target next week to keep things interesting.
Thanks again for the feedback

Already scored an MDT chassis. Changed spring but not real happy with it. It's at about a pound which is disappointing.
As far as the barrel, I'm sure thinking hard about a Bartlett. Run about 300 bucks more. I have to think on that a little while. I do love a Bartlett barrel.
And yes....this has turned out like reloading did years ago. You're delusional if you think this saves money.
The hole isn't deep. That would imply you found the bottom.

$7 to $8 seems to be the sweet spot for me. There is extant but diminishing improvement beyond that.

Eley Club, SK Pistol Match Special.

I shoot standing, both pistol and rifle.

I'm with the crowd suggesting SK. I took out one of my club's CZ 457s on Saturday to do some bench rest at 50 yards, not a discipline I usually shoot but felt like doing something a bit different. Using SK standard (the yellow box) achieved very solid results so I'd recommend trying that, to start out with.

A little known but fantastic deal is WHIDDEN in Ga--They offer "Test Bricks" You get 2 boxes of 5 different lots of a chosen ammo--Test yourself then order online--could not get any easier--Poor mans test session And..they have SK which usually shoots well in about anything
When you go to their site- pick ammo---and the drop down menu for lot number choice--scroll to the very bottom click on Test Brick--Those folks are a dream come true and know what the term customer service means--
