I was able to find 9mm at Calebas 100rd box for $24 each. and was able to pick up 500 primers. My local cabelas sell them in 100 per small $4 each box and $40 large 1000 primers. all the 1000 primers were gone
Ammo find today... Anybody else..?

Went to a local Sportsman's Warehouse [local is 25 miles away] and there was lots of rifle ammo, not much handgun ammo, a smidgen of primers. Didn't ask about powder. Decent selection of bullets, but I wasn't needing anything. A mile or so farther down the road is a yuge Mills Fleet n Farm store. Pretty much the same scene there. Same powder on the shelf that's been there all summer. Lotsa rifle ammo, course ya can't use it here. Skimpy mix of primers. Did see 2 left hand Savage Axis rifles on the rack, a 6.5 Manbun and a .270. Don't need more rifles.
I'm pretty sure I saw Federal large rifle primers at Sportsman's Warehouse in Lewiston, ID a couple weeks ago. Website will say they are out of stock, but they also said they were out of powder, and that's where I picked up two pounds of Varget. I think it's a way to make sure locals can get what they need without advertising to the hoarders.

Last time I was there about a week ago Fin, feather and Fur in Milan Ohio had them. I don't know where you are, but they sell on line.

I scored 6 boxes Rem core lokt 243 win. 100gr for $19 a box, $115 shipped on gun broker 2 weeks ago. Finally arrived today.
Current auctions similar to this is 5 boxes $34.99, $195 shipped if you buy it now and another seller feeding off the panic is $35.99 a box
Feel like I got a good deal seeing how Academy, when they had it on the shelf, price was $17.99.
I really didn't need them but I split this with my Cajun buddy who was down to half a box.

No 9mm's but did find a box of 45's and a box of 38's.
Saw 16 boxes of Rem 270 Win Core Lokt on the shelf at Sportsman's Warehouse $19 per box plus tax 9 150 grain 7 130 grain rifle ammo is plentiful there.

Nice to hear there are some places still have some stock.
I generally load my own so I have no need for off the shelf ammo and I haven't ventured to any other stores to see if they had anything.
I just don't think there is anything short of the higher priced ammo still on the shelfs. At the time Academy still had some Hornady in 243, some 7-08 and 270 but that was it other than some 22lr sub sonic, 22 magnum and plenty of shotgun hunting loads 12ga and 20ga, that was 2 weeks ago. Everything else was gone.
You can't hunt with centerfire stuff here [unless it is a straight-walled version] so there is no reason to stock up on it that I see.
