Ammerman bullets

when I was searching for 30br Bullets someone mentioned these.

Anyone use the 118s in a 30br? Or any other caliber or bullet from ammerman?

Looking to get some of these or Berger 115s, but ammerman has these in stock as of right now.

I currently have 1,000 hottenstien 112s and barts 112s on the way, but I figured I’d like to try these.

Side note, this guys Website looks bad ass and I might just buy Em anyway. Haha

I am shooting some in 2 different 30 BR rifles, still working on refining a load at this time. I had to take a short break until the UBR Nationals is over and my work schedule allows.

I have spoken with Charlie and did an initial test of them and they do look promising, as I explained to him that in the middle of the year is not a good time for me to change over, I do have some and will work with them after the nationals next weekend. The bullets do weigh consistent and the ogive measures great.
Same here as well. I don't want to give a review without having done all my testing. They do look promising, I just need to spend more time testing seating depth, neck tension, .etc. One additional thing that I have added to my load development is that I am trying two different powders since my H-4198 is very low.

Hope this helps a little.

I recently purchased some 52 gr HPBT as a member here recommended Ammerman bullets. To say that I'm pleased is an understatement. I've been using Sierra HPBT MK's and been getting some nice groups. First time out with the Ammerman's and I thought someone else was shooting at my target. Using my regular load for the Mk's the Ammerman's produced a smaller group. I'm looking forward to seeing what they will do after tuning a load specifically for them. Although I can't recommend the 118's because I don't use them I think you'll be pleased with them.

I've got some 68s and some 118s to test. Too little time. This season just hasn't gone as planned. As long as I'm able, I guess there's always next year but I normally test a ton and enjoy doing it. Just hasn't been in the cards for some time now and my scores show it. It's good hearing that Charlie and company are making good bullets though. Happy for him and hope it continues to grow and do well.

I tried some of his 68 gr. HPFB 6mm bullets with SW Precision in my 6BR-N at 100 and 200 yds. VFS. I was pleased with my scores, no off call shots. I would probably not use the 68's at 200 yds. if conditions were tuff. I will be ordering more in the future. I would also love to try a 80-85 gr. HPFB bullet at 200 yds. if he were to make one. Hint, hint.
