Am I the only one?

I won't say my better half of going on 34 years encourages me to buy more guns......but she never says a word about it.....I never say a word about anything she purchases either.

Have to start the young ones out the right way too, I've been gifting the grandson 1 each year on his birthday since age 5, he turned 18 in August....

Being a long range benchrester, I never had any interest in "para military" or pistols. Upon my wife's recent "encouragement" I now own a Rock River AR (AR non negotiable), CZ- TSO, and a Taurus G2c. In my world that is a lot of barrels and bullets BUT, happy wife, happy life..... :)
Merry Christmas. Dan P

I am fortunate also. wife used to hunt with me, pheasant and chuckar mostly, but since she came down with Parkinson's, no more. And she will, half joking ask "Do you need another one", but then does not mind when I buy and add another firearm to the fold. Very nice.

Shes a pretty frugal gal, so she's not asking me to buy more, but we have all our bases covered. CC piece for her, night stand gun for her (I work 6 nights a week) AR for her. I have a EDC, that's also my day stand gun.

One thing she actually splurges on is heels though. "The higher the heels, the closer to god" sure babe, pretty sure I heard that in the 80s about teased hair.

After 47 years she doesn't complain anymore. She would like me to sell off the ones that don't get used but did not say a word when I built the 6br or when I buy components(when they are out there).

Who has a wife encouraging him to buy MORE guns? The current state of things in our country has her concerned. The funny thing is for the last few years I have been “thinning out the herd” and putting those funds into long range bench rest shooting. There is actually a little room in the safe now, but I guess I have some more Christmas shopping to do.

Merry Christmas everyone and may God bless you!

Dave.
Does she have a sister that might be interested in a bald,68 year old ? Jeff

My little wife of 40 years owns more guns than anybody I know. Every time I buy something it's always followed with, "Hey, look what I bought you"! It's worked so far.....

Her last day of work was Thursday, retiring after 40 years of providing support to keep our nuclear stockpile in fine working order. As a retirement gift, she received a S&W model 34-1. She likes to shoot her S&W 617 and I figured she would really like the smaller "Lady Smith". The only problem with the 34-1 is it was made in the early 60's and has never been fired. It's going to be her call, to shoot it or not. When I presented it to her, the first comment was, "That's too pretty to shoot"!
Congratulations to your wife for being able to retire!!!
