you guys knocked it out of the park with that stock right there!Just finished this one up for @tom . Aluminum Neuvo drop port glued and screwed into a wood laminate low profile LRB stock. Tom picked out a new color to try as well. Bartlien barrel in 6 BRA. I went through the action and trigger as usual. Since this is a glue in I had to get down to raw aluminum so the epoxy would stick. If you have any concerns about this coating wearing though I can assure you its not going to happen. I think I can get through nitride easier. This stuff is tough. It took over an hour to prep the action with a die grinder. I was hoping to have my new barrels in by now to go on this rifle so Tom could get to testing but that didnt happen. She came in a 16.9lbs with the Majesta bedded into NF ultralight rings. I think they already do with the BumbleBee and Vampire, right?Alex do you see Bat doing ant Aluminum in there hunting actions?
I see your right, thanks for the reply.I think they already do with the BumbleBee and Vampire, right?
Honestly, before I started looking at BAT actions, in depth last week, I had the same impression about the Nuevo being the only one. Was surprised that those two hunting actions were aluminum, and for some reason made me more interested in them. I would rather have an aluminum hunting action in a traditional pattern than a uber skeletonized steel action where all of the deep woods debris can be caught in the action.I see your right, thanks for the reply.
I was under the impression the Nuevo was the first.

Crappy day no doubt’ looks like your about 4200 ft.. what I want to know is if those chains are drape over or drive on ?It seems this one is jinxed with visibility issues, so we'll just do scenic today.
