I know quite a few PRS guys that tried them with a 272 neck and had issues. They went to a 274 neck and it seems to be working fine. Mostly Alpha as the Peterson is fairly new.Anybody here use Alpha and/or Peterson 6 Dasher brass with a .272 neck chamber?
I'm guessing that is not Peterson brass.I use this JGS reamer with .269 neck....absolutely no problems. See pics! New brass .266, fired .267, loaded with 105 Gugnir .2685
10 firings and this brass works great! After first firing I trimmed to same length. I do not neck turn or anneal. My load is 32.6 Var at 2960-2965!
No sir, its Alpha. For some reason its not letting me attach the pic of the reamer. The reamer print is 6 Dasher RD if anyone needs it. I gave them the specs and they built the reamer. I'm not familiar with Peterson brass. The Alpha has well for me. I've also shot Lapua 6Dasher.... I shoot Lapua in all other calibers. This my first shot at Alpha and its been good brass. The reamer is .145 FB.........hope this helpsI'm guessing that is not Peterson brass.
So your loaded round is .2685" and your chamber is .269"? That's not much clearance, is it?I use this JGS reamer with .269 neck....absolutely no problems. See pics! New brass .266, fired .267, loaded with 105 Gugnir .2685
