Since the Lapua brass is getting to be almost non-existent, has anyone had success with the Alpha brass in 6BR?

On alpha brass is anyone running a uniformer in the pockets? PMA?

Might check out Glenn’s interview.

Video interview 2 says pretty much after 1st firing. The PMA is slight smaller in diameter I believe as well.

What about anyone hydro-forming Dasher from Alpha BR brass?

One might assume that everything should work the same.

I'm about to get a new barrel and brass prepped for it.... Now I can't find lapua brass

Alpha makes 6 Dasher too, ready to load...I just mandrel it, and load it in my 6 dasher...I use Remington 7 1/2 primer as they have a slight taper on the cup, and seat like normal instead of the tight feel of the 450 CCI .

Nope, Remington 7 1/2 primer for the first few firings...takes care of the tight primer pockets as the Remington primer has a slight taper or champher on the front edge of the cup instead of a straight cylinder like the other primers...seriously takes care of the problem...try it for yourself.
