Thank you to all who have tolerated my tardiness for the last 9 "dayz"!! Since undergoing a, "floater removal" procedure, I have been hampered by vision issues. To insure against a detached retina, the ophthalmologist "put a air bubble" in the eye, which has proven interesting! It is taking longer than expected to disappear!
Eventually the bubble will be absorbed - it is now small enough that its obscures only about the bottom 20% of the field-of-view, and above the bubble, the distance vision is floater free and CLEAR! To avoid damaging the eye (recoil), I did a little rim-fire shootin' this afternoon and for the first time in three years, the reticles were single DOTs!!
This may turn out to be as good as getting the cataracts fixed. I didn't expect the rheostat to be noticeably dialed-up, but THAT is a bonus!!
After today, I will be able to resume "normal" operations . . .
