Alliant 2000MR in the 6BR

Anyone trying 2000mr in the 6br. I got some to test mainly in the 308 win. because there is data from Alliant. This weekend I'll try it in my 6br just to get a baseline. Any info would be helpful. Thanks.

There is a forum member who is using this powder in his .223 with the Berger 90's and is getting outstanding results, if the Varget load that I am using now didn't shoot as good as it is now, this was going to be the next powder I was going to try. From what I can see, it appears to be a good powder, it is a lil slower in the burn rate than RL15 powder. And if I remember correctly, it is a powder that will meter well too.

I tried some in my 6br with 88g Berger varmint bullets since I had a bunch. I started out at 32.5g in the lands,but was pretty light. I ended up with enough powder in the case to fill it within .100" of the mouth of the case and was just over 3200fps. I ended up running 35.5g, It would probably work better with heavier bullets. It works great in my 260ai,43.5g with a 140 gets me around 2930fps.

The new 1000MR might be good in 6br when they get it out.
