I received this message from Al Nyhus this morning. Al is a frequent contributor here and on other BR sites. Those who know Al know he is a real and genuine guy, a straight shooter. Nancy was even better, nicer, a perfect match for Al. This is Al's message:
Early this morning, Nancy was gently taken into the Lord's loving embrace and ushered into Heaven. Her passing was peaceful and I was blessed to be by her side when God called her home.
My family and I wish to extend our thanks to all of you for the many prayers, good thoughts and kind gestures you've shown us over the past months. The comfort, hope and inspiration provided by these small kindnesses have meant so much to us.
The George Boom Funeral Home here in Sioux Falls is handling the arrangements. Services will be at at our church, Gloria Dei Lutheran, on Wednesday. Tentative time is for mid morning, but I'll have a more definite time for things later tomorrow.
Sincerely, Al.
