I recently bought a used LV bench gun to use in UBR. It shot good right out of the gate, but I determined it could be a better handling gun if I changed the balance point. The gun was nose heavy. Since the goal for this gun is UBR custom class, I had about 3 pounds to play with. Enter @AlNyhus
He gave me the straight scoop on the proper balance point and then offered to make me a weight system, so I took him up on it. I bought a 3/4" x 8" long copper tungsten rod and sent it and the butt plate to Al for some fitting. I located the spot on the butt plate for the rod and Al did the rest. He turned this thing around for me in a couple days to minimize the impact on the beginning of the shooting season.
We have some really great people here. Al is one of the best. Thank you!
