After waiting only 1 month!

I had purchased a bullberry encore barrel in 6 br,no turn neck,stainless barrel and hanger system. The bore is gorgeous(had it scoped) , and I had to order a flat forend(target) of royal jacaranda. I put my rubber grip on till my matching grip shows up. I also put a 2-7x burris on it for now. I cant wait to shoot it. I have about 100 rounds loaded and ready to go. Even though it has a black grip it still looks good. After I shoot it tomorrow,I will post results. I am very excited.

I'm glad to see that other folks on here shoot Encores, mine is my primary varmint rifle and I love it. Sounds like you shoot it as a pistol though? Are the Bullberry barrels lapped? Have you ever ordered from match grade machine? I used to order my barrels from the T/C custom shop but they shut it down when S&W bought em out...shame, since then I've been looking for new barrel maker's but haven't wanted to fork out the $$$ to find out if they're worth a darn.

J D Jones of SSK ind. makes great Encore and Contender barrels. I own quite a few of his in both pistol and rifle and they SHOOT. My 223 rifle barrel on my Contender shoots 3/8 inch groups at 100 and my 338JDJ 14 inch barrel will shoot first 2 touching at 200 yds with 180 gr NBT's at 2550 fps. I have taken Antelope at 210 yds and 429 yds with that barrel. He was using Shilen blanks when I got mine. He has been making these forever.

I put in an order for a new forend to fit their hanger bar. They told me 2-4 weeks and in reality Bullberry finished it and sent it to me in less than 3 weeks.Now that is what I call service . And talk about personal service,they couldnt be more helpful. I am really pumped.

This is a dream come true for me too. It generally has such manageable recoil and such good ballistics,it is a perfect choice for everything from varmints to our whitetail deer. Preacher is big on single shot big bores and such and he is the person whether he knows it or notthat got me going on this plan.

Today was a bust,the scope I just bought from a fella on our sight is broken and would not adjust. So I went home. Will try again soon.
