I have a Remington 700 Varmint rifle that I have Leupold Weaver type 2 piece bases on. I have a Zeiss Conquest with Burris Zee rings and have shot this rifle with no problems. I also have a 36x Weaver with a plain set of Weaver rings that I use on this rifle for load development with no problem. I just purchased another used Zeiss but this one has target turrets so I decided to switch with the one in the Zee rings. I sighted it in and I had to use 100% of the windage adjustment to get within an inch horizontally at 100 yards! Is there a way to adjust windage with the inserts? What options do I have other than switching to a Leupold regular style base and ring combo where I can adjust the windage on the base? I haven't looked at the other two scopes that work to see how far from center the windage adjustments are but I never remember turning them very far to get zeroed. Thanks for any help. Tom
