Adjusting RPA Gold Trigger

I am looking for someone with experience in adjusting an RPA gold trigger. I have all the documentation for that trigger but it is not helpful.

When I push the bolt forward, it cocks the trigger but when I turn the bolt handle downward, the sear trips. I've tried adjusting the weight screw and the two smaller screws in front of the trigger to no avail. It seems more downward pressure is needed on the bent to keep it in contact with the sear.

Back the 2 screws in the trigger bar out 2 turns. Close the bolt and turn the back one in until it fires. Back it out 1/4 turn. Repeat with the front screw. This should get your sear engagement corrected.

thanks for responding. But I have adjusted those two screws several times so I need a starting point or reference point to start from.

Do you have the trigger stop screw in the front of the trigger housing screwed in too far? You could try backing it out a couple of turns to see if the trigger sets. There is also a screw in the top where you have to insert an allen wrench to adjust the first stage pull weight. Try turning that screw in. All else failing you could take the side plate off to see if there is any trash in it or if the sear/bent engagement point is still in good condition. I don't know of anything other than the 4 screws that I have mentioned that could cause the trigger not to reset unless something is broken.
