Barnard trigger problem?

I have a Barnard p with Barnard trigger for f open. It’s got a few thousand rounds on it since I’ve owned it and I don’t know how many the original owner put on it.
At a match I had a few successful shots then one went off as I was closing the bolt.

After that the trigger would follow the bolt. I tried adjusting the trigger sear engagement and pull force. It worked for a few dry fires then would revert to going off while closing the bolt or following the bolt. The bolt also feels really gritty and difficult to open which it didn’t before. The. The trigger just started feeling mushy and not really breaking at all.
Any ideas on how to fix it? Thanks

I chased what I thought was a trigger issue for weeks. Stripped the bolt and found the cocking piece "grub screw" had backed out. Fix that and trigger fixed itself....
Good luck
John
