Adjustable Vs. Non Adjustable Parallax Riflescope

Looking for a new scope for a hunting rifle. I plan on a magnification of around 15X at the max. So, what are the advantages/non advantages of a scope with/without parallax adjustment. Being a realist I don't plan on shooting at game over 400-500 yards.

Will you have a chance at any close shots,10-30 yards...while you are watching for a shot at distance ?

You want a parallax adjustable scope, without it accuracy at long ranges suffer. 100 yds does matter unless you're shooting targets. At 300 it's a big deal and a bigger deal as you go out.

I found a parallax calculator online. With a fixed parallax scope set at 100 yards and zeroed at 100 yards, your max error increases about 1 inch per 100 yards. This is max, if you have a consistent cheek weld, your error is reduced considerably. As long as you don't see scope shadow, you will be near center, and more accurate.
