Action galling?

I am curious to know if the Panda actions experience the same galling problems that I have been told the Bat actions suffer from? I would like to hear the pros and cons of both from those of you who have first hand experience with this. Not looking for opinions but facts and definitely not looking to stir up any trouble. I am just trying to learn.

Have two Bats don't see any problem as long as you do your part and keep them lubricated, any will gall without lube.

I have been shooting BATs for over 10 years and haven't seen galling. Any action will Gaul if you don't use grease on lugs. Matt

I wipe down the lugs and put some TW25B grease on the bearing surface of the lugs every 50 rounds or so. Seems to be working. I think getting the old grease & grit off is as important as getting new grease on the lugs too.

+1 on the keeping them cleaned and greased. When I'm done with a relay its back to the cleaning bench, the bolt gets cleaned and lubed again then I clean the chamber with a patch wrapped around a brush then I clean the action inside were the lugs are riding with dental roll with a patch wrapped around it. this takes out the old grease and what ever else may have gotten in there.

An action thats galled is useless. No telling about how much other neglect the careless and lazy owner has done.
