I have yet to see it....u may have had some adware slip in on u. i recommend not doing it.

That is NOT anything we are running. I just tested the site on four platforms, two different browsers per platform, and found nothing. No pop-up, no surveys, no screen that pops up between threads.
In EVERY instance where a forum member complained about something like this, it was something on the user's machine -- it was NOT something from our server side. I believe the OP has a malware issue on his computer.
However, I have forwarded this thread to our IT guy Jay, just for further investigation.
