Folks,
Today we took the first step towards running the secure protocol for the AccurateShooter.com domain.
When you go to our home page, we recommend you set the URL to be: https://www.accurateshooter.com
NOTE the httpS
We are still working on getting all the existing links to forward so that bookmarks for the cartridge guides, tech articles, match reports, and guns of the week will work.
Please be patient. Because we have multiple sub-domains, this is somewhat complicated. I'm hoping that the older links will auto-forward soon. For example, if you type http://www.brownells.com it will launch the secure site https://www.brownells.com . That is what we are trying to achieve.
In the meantime, if you want to access a Cartridge Guide or other content item, go first to https://www.accurateshooter.com and then click a link within that site.
Also, there will be a temporary delay in display of the advertisements. The ad content also has to be delivered from a secure domain covered by our SSL certificate.
Bottom line -- everything is OK. This is a transition process. Just follow the work-arounds and you'll be able to access all our content.
