The devastation is really astonishing. Everything gone, vehicles in the parking lot moved and heavily damaged. Some apparently on fire at some point.
Anyone in that facility never knew what happened.

I am about 80 miles from Accurate Energetics Systems. I was outside my home at about 7:45am and heard a deep rumble. I did not know what it was until afternoon. Hard to imagine.

Im a big Ramshot fan. For years my bottles/jugs said made in Belgium but a couple years ago they started saying made in USA on the label. I also noticed the grains looked a bit different also. Contacted Hodgdon and was told Ramshot is Ramshot. Left me wondering just what that means

About 5 or so years ago the plant at Clermont Belgium suffered an explosion that shut them down for a couple of years. Could be that Ramshot had St. Marks fill the gap until Clermont could get back up and running.

I have some Big Game with a 2021 date that says Made in Canada. All the previous stuff was from Belgium. Very little difference between the lots.

When my dad got out of the navy after WW2 he worked at the Tennessee Eastman company. He delivered something he called composition B from a building where they made it to a lab for testing. He was not allowed to wear his own clothes, he had to wear a jump suit that had no metal in it only buttons and fabric boots. He scooped a small amount into a paper cup with a wooden spoon and walked to the other side of the plant. He said it would make the hair stand up on the back of your neck the whole way. He said after the first day he was looking for a new job.

Wasn't comp B the precursor to C-4?

He knew nothing about C-4 but told me composition B was "what they put inside of bombs." They tested for power or pressure to make sure that batch they made was potent enough to do the job.
