Accuracy loads....

I have a T/C Contender,.223 Rem,14" barrel. I'm asking for some advice as to accuracy loads. Thanks to all who answer.

Contender barrells are not very fussy, most all are very accurate, IMR 4198 is excellent in mine, remember you only have 14 in to burn all the powder ! mag primer helps, 21to 21.5 gr of 4198, but start looowwwwwer with a good 52-53 gr HP. good luck, they are a lot of fun to shoot !! Neil

Lapua case, match primer, Vihtavuori N133 and a good 52 grain bullet. FYI, I have found jamming in a Contender or Encore action counterproductive to accuracy.

Mr majestic,thanks for the jamming advice.I have been trying that in my encore with one of their pro hunter 28" tubes and accuaracy was not that great.I will try jumping them incrementally to see if it settles it down.Thanks.
