Accepting credit cards with Square

Just a little information about square credit card readers. Tried to run a card here in my shop last week, it wouldn’t accept it. Been using them for about 5 years. Got an email from them saying my account had been permanently terminated. They do not support any firearms, firearm accessories, or anything that can do body harm. The worst part is I couldn’t ever get a human on the phone to tell them what I thought about them. Just thought people might want to know.

I dumped Square years ago.

I use EMS Plus and have had zero issues.
Their fees are also a lot more favorable.

Every time I use my credit card on Square, I get an email (must have started at a coffee shop I frequent).
So wife gets her hair done, I get an email saying $135. Then she goes shopping and I get more emails. When she gets home I ask what she bought me.
Agree, everyone needs to move on from Square.

I use Venmo and Zelle. No fees. No questions.

Been doing that for years. Dumped me back in ‘15 for the same thing.
