When I got into reloading my .308Win I went overboard on buying brass and now I have enough to last me a decade. I don't want to repeat this with buying .221FB brass, but I also don't want to be caught short either. I currently have 300 cases to be processed, thinking that would be enough. I'm in the process of moving and I will be within 15 minutes of my gun club so I figure I'll show up twice a week, three to four weeks a month. I'm pretty sure I'll add a couple hundred more cases when Lapua starts offering .221FB.
I just don't have any idea how many firings you can get out of a 20VT cartridge. I figure I'll be loading about 18 grains or so of RL7 or 4198. With my .308Win I can easily get 10 reloadings and some cases I can double that with proper care.
