Curious if anyone has used both of these in the straight 6BR for the 95-107 gr bullets. It is my understanding both will work, just curious if one powder has a benefit over the other. Temp stability, easier to meter, burn rate/heat, etc.
not a wise statement to claim they are the same powderThey are the same powder, made my General Dynamics Canada (As is Lt32, AA2015, etc etc). Different burn rates. About a grain and a half apart.
AA 2495 = 4895
AA 4064 = Varget, R15
They make great powder. Very temp stable and clean.

These two are on Hodgdon’s reloading data for the 6br Norma case. 4064 shows to give a bit more speed.Curious if anyone has used both of these in the straight 6BR for the 95-107 gr bullets. Yeah saw that, but was curious what other thoughts guys had on them. Doesn’t sound like they are used much. These two are on Hodgdon’s reloading data for the 6br Norma case. 4064 shows to give a bit more speed.
