Quite some time ago, my wife bought me a .243 Winslow rifle. ,Actually, I bought it with her blessing as my birthday!). I haven't been able to find out that much information about this rifle other than was I have read in old Shooter's Bibles. It is a very comfortable rifle to shoot, and it is accurate as all get-out! It is my go-to gun for Montana antelope hunting and always receive compliments about it.
If anyone has any information of the Winslow rifles, I'd appreciate your sharing this knowledge. It is still a beauty with diamond inlays on the side and the stock style is that very innovative Monte Carlo stock. The checkering is topnotch. The workmanship appears flawless, and the blueing is still perfect. It has a Belgian Mauser action and a 24 inch barrel. Anyone care to pitch in?
