A Sad Picture

Sad picture indeed.Makes me sad that I dont have your scale and powder thrower on my bench,ha ha,maybe someday.Guess I'll just have to tuff it out with the ol 10-10 and dandy trickler. We still out in the sticks so not to worried about finding a place to shoot but just seen a video of a woman throwing a gallon of milk at food city clerk because they wouldn't let her buy 4 gallons.I figured if she was so worried about having enough mike she shouldn't have busted one.Hope this dont get much worse and maybe start getting back to normal quickly.

Good Health to All

It's sad that it is sitting dormant until I can get back out the the range. I can do a little loading, but I am not going to load up my next batch of BR loads until I have a range date. I don't like to leave bullets seated for too long before firing with the BR loads.

Our range is closed as well but if you think that this is an over reaction you are sadly mistaken. Wife is a nurse and is taking care of multiple corona cases now. The people aren’t in good shape. The nurses aren’t being issued n95 masks because there aren’t enough to go around. The epidemiologist has been quarantined due to exposure.
Please thank her for her service and we pray for her protection from this stuff.

Load your ammo and seat your bullets a little long. Then seat them the rest of the way when you are ready v

That works for everything but a BR rifle. It might be okay, but with all the crap shown in the picture, do think I would do something that only "might" okay...... ;)

I have stocked up in powders and pistol and hunting bullets in anticipation of most ranges in my area being shut down. I will be doing my social distancing by going hunting more with my son and now need to blow the dust of pistol and hunting gun reloading gear which have been neglected lately. Hundreds of pistol and hunting cartridges left to load now to keep me busy for a few days.

This is a sad picture: https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/

Hard to call it an over-reaction considering the trends in some reason, especially the US curve over the last four days since testing is actually commencing. Sunday, with any luck, we may see a very faint light at the end of the tunnel.

I too have been looking at all the data (I have posted about it elsewhere). It is absolutely an overreaction to close a members only outdoor shooting range that has 20 benches and rarely more than 2 or 3 shooters.

crazy talk

When common sense became not so common. The same is even more true for closed beaches and surf fishing (100+ feet between fishermen).

Tell your wife thank you for what she does. Hopefully more supplies will be forthcoming.

The reloading room at my house Is also a ghost town ... My gunsmith is about done with my 30br but I don't know that I'll be able to go get it anytime soon.

Since they have closed my local range due to the COVID-19 overreaction, all this stuff I have accumulated, from Autotrickler and Autothrow on Sartorius, to the Hydro seater, the presses, the Bullet Genie, the SO/CO tool, and the AMP machine; are all dormant. I guess I can weigh primers......

This is a nightmare scenario if ever I’ve encountered one.

When the Kung-Flu blows over, you can get yourself pistols and a semi-auto rifles, and you'll never run out of stuff to load !

But for those I use a Dillon.
