I roll them in a towel and hit them with my girlfriends old hair dryer. I do 100's at a time but it only takes about 15 mins or so to heat them up and I don't put anything in my oven where I cook food.
No way with induction, IME, flame would need to contact it directly. Anneal a few with carbon on the outside of the neck sometime, it disrupts the whole process.Where does annealing figure into leaving carbon in the neck? Would it burn away the carbon layer?
