A new rifle for a good young man

I'll take pix of chex, keep a ledger of dates rcvd, donor, type of funds and pix will be available to everyone when the dust settles. I'll do a periodical running talley and post results.
I don't know if Miss (a southern honorific) Paula will keep John in the loop. Her call.
Well, I need to keep most of my $100 bills for now, but I CAN drop a Gehmann 565 in the mail. He might find a use for it. :)

Tom, I jumped the gun and made the check out to you.

Please do whatever it takes to convert the funds over to John.

Wish our congress would work together as well as this bunch of deplorables.

We found the money and Butch even found John an advisor for spending it
wisely. I get the impression that John has already learned the value of money.

We certainly aligned ourselves with a fine family-----something we can be proud of.

I think we may have $2000 or so promised. You guys are great. I was kinda surprised to learn a new Anschutz, Walther, Feinwerk Bau, Grunig will start at $3500 and a Bleiker around $5000. Dig deep guys, I think John will go a long way with this. Any young man that will go out into a barn with all of his shooting leather and practice at 90-100 deg temps is a serious shooter. We are all going to be proud of our contribution to a fine young man.

This is a really positive thread to read. I've been leaving a lot of gun-related social media as people tear fellow shooters down or exhibit other negative behavior vs fostering a positive and informative community. This is really a breath of fresh air. Going to check some stuff and see how much I can donate.
